Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If we're not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to get reimbursed for our services through your out-of-network benefits. Here's how the process works:

  1. Check Your Benefits: Start by reaching out to your insurance company to see if your plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage. Be sure to ask about your deductible and reimbursement rates for mental health services.

  2. Request a Statement: Upon request, we can provide you with a detailed statement, also called a superbill. This document includes all the necessary information — dates of service, fees, and types of services provided — to submit to your insurance company.

  3. Submit Your Claim: Using the statement we provide, you can file a claim directly with your insurance company. Your insurance plan will reimburse you at the discretion of your policy agreement.

If you have any questions about this process, do not hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you every step of the way.
