Meet Our Therapists
Robin Hyson, LPC, LCADC
I believe therapy is a process in which a therapist and client must align and work together to move toward stated goals and goals that will develop throughout the process. We all have the capacity to create the relationships and life that we want. I work with clients to empower them to take control of things they feel they have lost control over, and to push themselves in areas where they wish to achieve better results.
I use motivational interviewing to assist with better understanding your goals to ensure that you are working toward the goals that you value. I utilize other evidenced based practices including CBT, REBT, and mindfulness. I am an approved clinical supervisor (ACS) and certified clinical supervisor (CCS) and can supervise clinicians pursuing their LPC or LCADC.

Treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADD/ADHD, anger, job stress, lifestyle change, diet and health change, substance use disorders, food addiction, and other behavioral addictions.
Hilary Scheer, LPC, CTTS
Managing life stressors and balancing relationships are common issues that we as humans are facing today. We struggle attempting to do it all and more often than not we wind up feeling burned out and/or checked out. We are existing instead of living. I view therapy as offering the opportunity to gain another perspective on life experiences and explore how to navigate them more effectively. Once we gift ourselves the opportunity to engage in therapy we become better equipped to function from the place of gratitude which automatically shifts us into a healthier state of mind.
Kristen Materek, LCSW, LCADC, CIRT
I believe in the power and process of therapy and the importance of creating an atmosphere that allows people to feel safe, comfortable, and heard without judgement. Therapy allows us to learn more about ourselves and rediscover our strengths. Therapy can provide us the tools to truly quiet our minds so that we can enjoy life again, feel fully alive, and present focused.
If you are experiencing difficulties in relationships, daily stressors, overwhelming anxiety or depression, we can work together to restore hope, challenge perspectives, and learn new methods for coping. We will work together to make positive change wherever possible, and reach acceptance of the things that we simply cannot change.
I am an LCSW & LCADC with 10+ years of experience. I am a Certified Imago Therapist and passionate about understanding and improving communication and relationship dynamics. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based practices including Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. But together we will focus on the approaches that are most helpful in achieving your personalized goals.
Ayla Fleming, LCSW, LCADC, EMDR Trained
I believe the therapy relationship is sacred because it is a space to discuss anything- free of judgement. Therapy is a space to learn coping skills, process choices/events, clarify goals and the pathway to achieve them, manage life changes, move past trauma, or regain your voice. I am passionate about empowering individuals with the skills they need to minimize stress and maximize peace, joy, and identifying the pathway to health- honoring the best version of you.
I have experience working with clients managing anxiety, depression, wellness/ self-care challenges, PTSD, trauma, codependence, health or pain issues, and excessive keeping/saving (or hoarding) behaviors. Modalities I often use include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), assertive communication skills, learning emotional language, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), stress reduction skills such as mindfulness, visualization, and meditation, motivational interviewing (MI), and health and wellness psychoeducation.
Sunanda “Suni” Sharma, LAC
Seeking counseling is a brave step towards transforming your life. I believe engaging in therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to providing culturally responsive care through a safe and open therapeutic rapport. When life or relationships become stressful, therapy can help us to work through challenges, improve communication, decrease stress, and learn how to overcome obstacles.
I received my Masters Degree at Monmouth University and am currently pursuing my PhD in Counseling at Montclair State University. My research and clinical interests include race and culture related issues in the therapeutic alliance, social justice, ethics, and behavior change.
I look forward to working together as you work toward and accomplish your goals.
Jodi Bower-Maccioli, LPC
I believe all people want to have a voice, feel heard, and be understood, without judgement. Sometimes we just need someone to listen to our story, other times we need help in sorting out our feelings, or we need help formulating a plan of action when we are feeling stuck. In an effective therapeutic relationship, all of these things can happen.
Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, parenting, relationships, self-esteem issues, or are just feeling stuck and you aren’t quite sure why, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable place where you can identify and approach your difficulties, and we can work together to formulate a plan to reach your goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years experience. I have an eclectic approach, and use a variety of modalities to best meet the need of each individual, including CBT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing.
Jeff Singh, LAC
There are moments in life where things are difficult. At such times, we may feel alone in our journey. I believe that therapy is a place where we work collaboratively to grow from the obstacles we face. This growth helps empower us to continue to build the life we want.
As a professional, I aim to maintain a safe and responsive environment where one can be comfortable sharing anything they feel. I believe therapy is a place where people grow and develop skills to conquer any current or future issues.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master’s Degree from Monmouth University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with individuals to manage stress, anxiety, and life changes. I also work with individuals experiencing grief and loss.
I look forward to meeting with you as you create the path towards your ideal life.
Ashley Schiraldi, LCSW
Beginning to understand your own story takes courage and connecting with the right person to help you read through the pages can be empowering. As human beings we experience challenges in our lives that can leave us feeling unsure of how to navigate our situation and our emotions, but we do not have to let those challenges define who we are. Therapy can be a safe space for you to tell your story. Engaging in therapy not only offers a place to discuss the hardships, but it also allows us to celebrate the successes. It can be a place to heal, to challenge yourself, to find balance, and to grow.
The therapeutic alliance is about working together to help you reach your own personal goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Professionally, I utilize a strengths-based approach, while using techniques such as motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT to help build a foundation of self-love, compassion, and healthy coping.
